Thank you for your interest and love in MYKN.
MYKN's Korean manager has prepared a time
to communicate with you to express gratitude to everyone
who encouraged MYKN through MYKN's mail and Instagram.
We're going to have a regular Q&A interview
that MYKN's manager will answer questions from MYKN users.
We're going to start part one right now!
I wonder who MYKN members!
MyKN consists of 100% Korean managers as of now :)
MYKN's managers including Koreans who speak English well, Japanese well, and Koreans who speak Chinese well
are receiving applications from around the world and making their Korean name.
Now that there are quite a lot of databases, the rate of MYKN algorithm automatically recommending names
according to the information entered by the name applicant has increased a lot
and the name provided at this time is also a Korean name named by a Korean manager.
I'm curious why you started MYKN!
The beginning of communication between people is the act of exchanging names with greetings.
We thought those who use MYKN were interested in Korea and Korean culture :)
So We wanted to make a Korean name and give it to you as a gift.
We are not name author.
we can't make a name that reflects Yin-Yang and Five-Elements,
but we can make a Korean name that expresses your name in a Korean way based on the information you provided.
So, trust us and use it!!
I wonder how Korean names and meanings are provided!
Did you know that most Korean names have 'meaning' in their names?
Korea belongs to Asia and used to belong to the 'Chinese character' culture.
Therefore, when you look at Korean names, they can often be written in Chinese characters.
For example, Kim Seok-jin(BTS member/jin) wrote the Chinese character of " 金碩珍 "
But you have to be careful!!!!!!!
The meaning of Chinese characters should not be read word-forword translation.
The Korean name encompasses a greater meaning than the superficial meaning of a single Chinese character.
김(金) – gold / 석(碩) – big / 진(珍) - treasure
So Kim Seok-jin, can interpret the meaning of the name as "to be a big treasure,"
or can be interpreted as "a person who receives precious use as a great leader" by interpreting the word "碩" as a hard and solid leader.
In other words, how to give meaning to a name is the core of a Korean name!
However, there are Chinese characters in MYKN's database,
but the name card does not contain Chinese characters.
The reason is that the purpose is to provide Korean names in Korean.
How do you make Korean name?
First of all, we will review the meaning of the native language name received from each country
and then we will make it into a similar Korean name that can make the most of the pronunciation of the native language last name and frist name.
In some cases, Korean is interpreted based on the Chinese characters mentioned above,
but these days, more and more names are written only in pure Korean, not Chinese characters!
Some of you may only are made pure Korean through MYKN, but the pure Korean name is written as Pure Korean.
Due to this process, naming takes a long time, so please understand even if it takes time.
What MYKN manager wants to say to us?
MYKN manager is doing their best to help you make meaningful Korean names.
We hope you enjoy watching the Korean name and meaning provided by MYKN and enjoy studying Korean!
Once again, the meaning of MYKN's name is named in the sense that MYKN's manager wants to give you
because the meaning and purpose of Korean names based on Chinese characters can be made and named in a wide variety of ways.
For your information, these days, only Chinese characters are borrowed,
but the number of names that have nothing to do with the meaning of Chinese characters is increasing.
So you shouldn't take the meaning of a name by just Chinese characters.
Korean name that only Koreans can digest because they have to be able to look at the names
by applying the surface meaning, inner meaning, long-standing storiesand related stories, and the temperament of the Chinese characters.
MYKN is a Hangeul & Korean community
We will meet you every day up to date so that you can enjoy Korean culture by Korean name.
