I wonder how Korean names and meanings are provided!

Did you know that most Korean names have 'meaning' in their names?

Korea belongs to Asia and used to belong to the 'Chinese character' culture.

Therefore, when you look at Korean names, they can often be written in Chinese characters.

For example, Kim Seok-jin(BTS member/jin) wrote the Chinese character of " 金碩珍 "

But you have to be careful!!!!!!!

The meaning of Chinese characters should not be read word-forword translation.

The Korean name encompasses a greater meaning than the superficial meaning of a single Chinese character.

김(金) – gold / 석(碩) – big / 진(珍) - treasure

So Kim Seok-jin, can interpret the meaning of the name as "to be a big treasure,"

or  can be interpreted as "a person who receives precious use as a great leader" by interpreting the word "碩" as a hard and solid leader.

In other words, how to give meaning to a name is the core of a Korean name!

However, there are Chinese characters in MYKN's database,

but the name card does not contain Chinese characters.

The reason is that the purpose is to provide Korean names in Korean.

How do you make Korean name?

First of all, we will review the meaning of the native language name received from each country

and then we will make it into a similar Korean name that can make the most of the pronunciation of the native language last name and frist name.

In some cases, Korean is interpreted based on the Chinese characters mentioned above,

but these days, more and more names are written only in pure Korean, not Chinese characters!

Some of you may only are made pure Korean through MYKN, but the pure Korean name is written as Pure Korean.

Due to this process, naming takes a long time, so please understand even if it takes time.
